In 2019, the New Hope-Solebury School District contracted EMG Corporation, now part of Bureau Veritas, to conduct Facility Condition Assessments (FCA) for each of the District's school buildings. These reports, compiled by an independent team of architects, engineers, and building analysts, evaluated the condition of various building systems and components and identified the remaining useful life of building assets. Recommendations were made for repairs and replacements and estimated costs and timelines were provided. These FCA reports were then used to develop of a 10-Year Facilities Plan ensuring that deficiencies are addressed strategically and with consideration for the District operating budget.
